My Story

Hi, I’m Miranda, the founder of Mimi Bags.

The idea for Mimi Bags came to me one sunny day at the beach. I wanted a soft, comfortable bag that was big enough to carry everything — towels, books, sunscreen — but also had a little detachable pouch to keep things like my phone and car keys safe and easy to find. Simple, really!

After doing a bit of research, I found some beautifully soft towelling in gorgeous colours from Portugal, and that’s when things started to take shape. I began making bags with an added fun, contrasting motif and pouch bag to bring it all together. Before I knew it, I had created something both practical and stylish — not just for the beach, but for everyday life too.

Mimi Bags are made with care and creativity, designed to be used, loved, and enjoyed — wherever your day takes you. An added bonus is that they are machine washable - so perfect!
